Terms of use — Warmelo
Last updated 1 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Warmelo ("the app"), published by Escape Plan Software Ltd ("we", "us"), company number 17262078, registered in England and Wales. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard end-user licence agreement below.
Licence
Your use of Warmelo is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which you can read at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these terms and the Apple EULA conflict on a point the EULA covers, the Apple EULA governs.
What Warmelo is, and is not
Warmelo is a singing practice tool: guided warm-up exercises with reference tones and live pitch feedback. It is not medical advice, voice therapy or a substitute for a qualified singing teacher or clinician. Warm up gently and at a comfortable volume. Stop if you feel pain, and see a qualified professional if you have a voice problem.
Pitch detection depends on your device, microphone, surroundings and voice. We work to make it accurate, but readings and scores are guidance, not a certified measurement.
Subscriptions
- What's on offer: Warmelo is unlocked by an auto-renewing subscription, either yearly or monthly. In some countries the yearly plan can also be paid in 12 monthly payments (below). Current prices and any free trial are shown on the purchase screen inside the app and on the App Store before you buy. That is the source of truth, not this page, because Apple localises and may update pricing.
- Free trial: Eligible new subscribers to the yearly plan get a 7-day free trial, also when they pay for it monthly where that is offered. Before you confirm, the purchase screen shows the trial on a timeline (today free for 7 days, a reminder on day 5 if you turn reminders on, the first charge on day 7) and says under the button what you will be charged and how to stop it (for example, "Then $49.99/year, renewing unless you cancel in iPhone Settings at least 24 hours before the trial ends."). If you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you are not charged. The monthly plan has no trial.
- Paying for the yearly plan monthly (12-month commitment): In some countries (not the United States or Singapore, and on iOS 26.4 or later) you can switch on "Pay monthly" under the yearly plan and pay in 12 monthly payments instead of once. Before you confirm, the purchase screen shows the monthly amount, the 12 payments and their total, and Apple shows its own explanation of the commitment once for your Apple Account. This is a commitment to all 12 payments: you can cancel at any time, but cancelling stops the plan renewing after the 12th payment, not the payments that are left, and you keep access until the commitment ends. If a free trial comes first, cancelling at least 24 hours before it ends means you are not charged. After the 12th payment the plan renews for another 12 monthly payments unless you have cancelled. If a monthly payment fails, access pauses until Apple collects it; if Apple cannot, the commitment ends. We do not offer monthly payments in countries where local law lets you end a subscription early with a refund (Apple lists Germany, Israel, South Africa and Türkiye). You can see the payments made and left in your Apple Account's subscription settings.
- Auto-renewal: Except for a yearly plan paid monthly (above), subscriptions renew automatically for the same length and price shown at purchase, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. A yearly plan paid monthly is charged each month for its 12-month commitment and renews as a new commitment unless cancelled.
- Cancellation: You can cancel any time in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or from Warmelo's Settings → Manage Subscription. Except for a yearly plan paid monthly, where the payments left in the commitment continue (above), cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf, because Apple manages billing.
- Refunds: All purchases are billed by Apple, so refunds are decided by Apple: request one from Warmelo's Settings → Request a Refund (shown while a purchase you paid for is active) or at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple declines a refund and you believe that is wrong, write to support@escapeplan.software and we will look into it.
- Price changes: If we ever change the price, Apple notifies existing subscribers in advance, and asks for your agreement where the rules require it. You can cancel before the new price applies.
